The Accent devices from Liberator are dedicated communication aids based on Windows tablet computers. You can access the Accents via a wide range of methods including touch, switch, eye gaze and mice and other pointing devices. The NuVoice communication software offers a range of vocabularies for communication, with symbols or text, with content for all ages and abilities. The Accents can also be used for control of a computer via Bluetooth or USB, and to control devices such as TVs via a built-in infra-red transmitter.
How do I set up the Scottish Voices?
- Download the Scottish Voice(s) you want and install them on your Accent.
- Go to the 'NuVoice ToolBox' and choose the 'Speech Menu'.
- Select 'Change Voice' and choose the voice you want to use.
- Adjust the speed and pitch to your preference.
